Keep 0.5 m clear on each side and 1.5 m open in front of the dock

Notes

  • Do not place the charging dock in direct sunlight.
  • Do not cover the signal emission area of the charging dock with stickers or other objects.
  • Do not place the charging dock on soft floors such as carpet.
  • Ensure a clearance of 0.5 m exists on the two sides of the charging dock, and in front there is an open area of 1.5 m away from the charging dock.
  • After connecting to the power source, tie up the excess power cord to prevent the robot from dragging the charging dock during operation, which could displace the dock or make it unable to return to charge after a power cutoff.
  • Keep the charging area dry, and remove the mopping plate after the robot is charged.
  • Keep the charging chips dry and tidy; clean and wipe them regularly.

Install the mop assembly

Optional

This step can be skipped. Install the mop assembly only when you need to mop the floor.

Four steps to install the mop: remove the water tank, fill water through the inlet/outlet, attach the mop holder and mop, then push the tank back into the unit
Installing the water tank, mop holder and mop

Press the water tank release key and remove the tank from the main unit.

Remove the rubber plug from the tank and fill water in the tank through the water inlet and outlet.

Align the clips in the mop holder to the holes in the water tank support; a "click" sound indicates successful installation.

Push the water tank back into the main unit.

Notes

  • To improve mopping, clean three times before using the mopping function.
  • The mop is stuck to the mop holder and can be removed for cleaning and replacement.
  • Failing to install the water tank in place may result in a dropped tank.
  • Remove the mopping plate support when the main unit is charged in the charging dock.
  • Do not fill in boiling water, to prevent tank deformation at high temperature.
  • If carpets exist in the mopping environment, roll them up at the edge or set a virtual wall in the App.
  • In case of poor mopping effect or slipping, choose a proper water volume in the App.
  • When the mopping function is not in use, keep the water tank in place and remove the mop holder.

Install the side brush

Align the unit and push it onto the charging dock to charge

Remove the strip seal according to the prompt text on the machine.

Align the machine to the charging dock in the indicated direction, then push the machine into the charging dock to charge.

Notes

  • When the main unit makes contact with the charging dock, the power indicator flashes to indicate the main unit is charging.
  • If the main unit fails to charge, check whether the charging chips at the bottom of the machine are blocked by hair bundles from the side brushes on the two sides. Manually turn the side brush to eliminate possible blockage.

Instructions prior to use

  1. Prior to startup, clean up scattered wires and debris on the floor, and remove objects that are easy to fall, fragile, valued, and could result in hazards. Prevent items from being entangled, stuck, dragged, or knocked down by the main unit, which could cause damage to people and property.
  2. If overhead structures exist in the cleaning area, secure and block them with appropriate objects to prevent damage to people and property from possible falling.
  3. It is recommended to follow the robot throughout the initial cleaning to help deal with possible small problems. After these problems are solved, the robot will smoothly carry out automatic cleaning in the future. If no cleaning is required, or the robot may be trapped in some special areas, add exclusion zones or virtual walls at the corresponding positions in the map shown in the App to prevent the robot from entering these areas.
Four illustrations: clear the floor of loose wires and clutter before cleaning, and keep the robot away from open stairs or set a virtual wall to prevent falls
Clear loose items from the floor and protect open stairs before starting

Avoid falls

Keep the robot away from open stairs and ledges, or use the App to set a virtual wall. Place the robot on a flat, hard surface and do not let it operate near unprotected drops.

5. Operating guidelines

6. Using the app

Notes

If your home Wi-Fi name or password is changed, you will need to re-establish the connection with your robot vacuum.

  1. The App supports iOS 9.0 and above and Android 6.0 and above phone system versions; Pad devices are not accepted. Generally the phone system version can be checked under "Settings → About Mobile Phone".
  2. This model does not support WEP-encrypted routers.
  3. Network configuration of the cleaner requires a Wi-Fi network in the 2.4 GHz frequency range; the 5 GHz frequency range is not currently compatible.
  4. Do not configure network access while the unit is charging.
  5. Wi-Fi is mandatory for network configuration of the cleaner. Once configured successfully, the App may be operated in a Wi-Fi/2G/3G/4G network environment and the cleaner may be controlled remotely.
  6. If your home Wi-Fi password is changed or the router is replaced, you only need to configure network access for the cleaner once again — without any changes to your App account.
  7. If others want to use the App to operate the same cleaner, they need to be invited on the App by the family creator (on the condition that the invitee has downloaded the App and registered an account).
  8. When the App changes, old users may be invited to remove the device on the mobile App, and the new users just need to configure network access directly according to the instructions. (If the old users don't remove the device, it will be removed automatically after the new users configure network access successfully.)
  9. Once the cleaner is configured successfully, the following operation will clear the Wi-Fi settings and require re-configuration: long press the network configuration key on the device for over 3 seconds; after a tick sound is heard, all Wi-Fi information is cleared.
